Step 1: Click on the register button. There you will be redirected to the family application.
Step 2: Once your application has been submitted you will receive directions on paying the $50 application fee and $250 first semester community fee. You must submit those to complete registration.
Finally, once those steps are complete you will be contacted by the director with further instructions.
Join Plumbline and participate in a community calendar of scheduled educational activities, student focused events, and organized field trips.
Have the option of participating in organized events each month for grades TK-12, along with additional yearly activities such as a high school graduation ceremony, science fair and prom. Events will provide a chance for academic challenges, relationship building and personal growth.
Membership includes access to all private field trips and events. Fees vary depending on event and can be free, discounted, or full price. Graduation participation requires submission of a parent-driven transcript.
Events, field trips and activities are scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Plumbline provides specific support for the home educating parent. Included is access to the Plumbline Private Library, the option for personalized parent mentorship, and regular parent resource events. The resource library provides access to used books to help buffer the expense of home educating, in addition to a large selection of reading books and novels for all ages. Monthly parent workshops vary in topic and always supply a fun environment for parents to interact and build their own relationships. Families who are looking for individual help choosing curriculum, solving problems, or just needing advice can schedule to meet with the Director at any time.
Parent events are scheduled on Tuesday or Thursday evenings.
From August through May PLC offers learning center classes for TK to 12 students. Classes are sized big enough for quality group interaction and learning, but small enough for personalized attention. Most classes are full year, and all classes are offered on both Tuesday and Thursday. Occasionally short tern, semester or single day classes are offered.

Classes for grades TK-2 focus on academic exposure, topics to supplement the home curriculum, and developing lifelong learners. Work for home is not assigned.
Classes for grades 3-12 have an academic focus placed on core subjects (English, Math, Science, History) with elective classes also offered. Work for home is assigned to be completed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Work is not assigned on designated calendar holidays. All classes meet learning requirements for that student for the year. Parents do not need to supplement at home unless they would like to.
Class registration is on a first-come first-served basis with continuing families having the first option for enrollment. Textbooks will be used from the curriculum library whenever possible. Some courses, such as high school science, may have an additional lab fee.
Student class placement is not dependent on a traditional school structure, but Plumbline teachers and administrators have the final decision on the social and academic appropriateness of student placement. Some teachers offer additional tutoring options.
