Nichole Sawatzky
Director, English, History

Nichole is a CA credentialed teacher and homeschool mom with more than 25 years of teaching and administrative experience. She has spent time in outdoor education, taught in the traditional classroom, directed several co-ops, and spent 18 years as charter school teacher. She is super passionate about parent driven education.

Colleen Manuola
Math

Colleen has nearly 40 years teaching experience as a homeschool mom and CA credentialed teacher. 21 of those years were in the charter world as teacher, Math teacher, and Math department head. Colleen taught in the high school classroom and had a highly successful tutoring business. Her specialties are helping families have a healthy homeschool experience and teaching high school math.

Kevin Soch
Math, Physics

Kevin took his love of math and science to MIT for a SB in Physics, and then on to San Diego for a degree in Electrical Engineering. He is a veteran homeschool dad, having homeschooled his four (now adult) children. When he is not busy as an Electrical Engineer, he enjoys making math fun for the students he tutors.

Stephanie StClair
TK-1, art

Stephanie has spent 22 years teaching preschoolers how to love learning and get started on their education journey. She has an adult daughter, and a kindergartener that she is homeschooling this year. Stephanie loves sports, art and helping children grow into their creative intellectual selves.

Kyle Warren

Kyle has served as a children’s ministry director and women’s ministry director for more than 30 years. She is a veteran homeschool mom, and an expert in all things children from babies to teens. Kyle has a passion for supporting parents, and has worked internationally with women, children and medical programs in Africa and Belize.

Carmelita Wasson
Science, Executive support

Carmelita holds a Bachelor of Science in Technical Communication with a minor in Biology. She worked for a Fortune 500 science and technology company for several years, but now serves as a children’s ministry director and science teacher enthusiast. She has also taught science and technology after-school enrichment classes, Girl Scouts STEM badges, and coached an award-winning robotics team.

Amy Young
french, science, math

Amy took advantage of her college's study abroad program and after a year in France, ended up with a degree in French! Amy also has an Associates of Science in Chemistry, and has taught French and Italian for Sierra College Community Education. She has tutored many in math, chemistry, and French, and finds sharing these passions very rewarding.
