Classes are located on site at Gold Country Calvary Chapel, Grass Valley.
Absolutely not. We ask that all community members acknowledge our statement of faith and understand that all policies, event guidelines, curriculum choices and class expectations will stem from this perspective.
In order to protect our current students from disruption and to keep our campus secure we do not allow prospective students to try out a class without formal enrollment. Our drop and refund policy allows adequate time for a family to make a decision.
Two formal information meetings and campus tours are scheduled during open registration times - one in May and one in July. If you are hoping to schedule a private tour during another time, please email the director at nichole@plumblinelearning.com.
There are a limited number of scholarships available each year for use towards class fees. Scholarships are awarded based on funds availability. If you would like to be considered for family sponsorship please use our contact form and put scholarship in the subject line for more information.
Unfortunately, no. Because PLC is an outreach of a church the California state constitution says it is illegal for us to accept public education funds. All of our services are private pay only.
Our mentor teachers have experience supporting parents of special needs students, and special needs students are welcome in any community or classroom setting that is fitting and beneficial for them. In some situations a parent may be asked to accompany a student to class as an aide. If you have specific questions or concerns please feel free to contact us.
Staff and students are asked to uphold a fragrance free/scent free policy. Our classrooms are food free, and food is only allowed in designated areas. We have on site staff trained in first aide and epi-pen use. If you would like additional information or have a child with specific needs, please let us know.
